Dan Bailey returned to a limited practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a back injury and is questionable for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati. The Cowboys did bring in kickers for a tryout in case Bailey misses Sunday’s game, but are holding out hopes he will be ready. Check at game time to see if Bailey will be ready. LeGarrette Blount was limited in practice this week with a hip injury and is questionable forSunday’s game against Cleveland. If he’s not available, James White could get some extra touches. New England is almost certain to pass more as well, with Tom Brady returning from suspension. Dez Bryant did not practice this week and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Bengals with a knee injury. Bryant seems likely to miss another week, and still hasn’t developed great chemistry with Dak Prescott. Jay Cutler did not practice this week and is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Colts. Cutler will cede starting duties to Brian Hoyer, and Hoyer could take the job permanently with a few good outings. Considering the troubles of the Colts defense, Hoyer is a decent QB2 this week. Stefon Diggs did not practice this week and is doubtful for Sunday’s game against Houston due to a groin injury. Julian Edelman was limited in practiceThursday and Friday with a foot injury and is questionable for Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Edelman’s status is in doubt, and he is likely a game time decision leaning active . Zach Ertz practiced fully all week and will return from a rib injury to play Sunday against Detroit. Ertz has played in just one game this year, but is instantly startable against a questionable Lions defense. Arian Foster was limited in practice all week with a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Sunday’s game against Tennessee. Rob Gronkowski was limited in practice this week with a hamstring injury, and is questionable for Sunday’s game against Cleveland. Even if he does play, it’s possible Gronkowski could be a decoy again, as he has just one catch in his two games this season. If you have a solid backup tight end, it might be wise to wait until Gronkowski proves he is part of the offense before deploying him. LeSean McCoy was limited in practice Friday after suffering a hand injury and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Rams. For his part, McCoy insists he will play Sunday, so he seems likely to take the field, but check before game time to make sure. Donte Moncrief did not practice this week and will not play Sunday due to a shoulder injury. Latavius Murray did not practice this week and will not play Sunday due to a toe injury. Cam Newton missed practice Friday because of his concussion, and is in danger of missing Monday night’s game against Tampa Bay.
